Sweater Detail

This is the detail on the bottom edge of the Drops cardigan. I like the scalloped edge. The original pattern calls for a bobble, and I tried several, but went instead for a knot, as suggested by one of the people on Ravelry who have knit this pattern.

For a DK weight yarn it seems to be going pretty quickly. The challenge at this point is keeping track of buttonhole placement, side increases and front decreases. I have the distance to each point listed on a note on the pattern, and can only hope that I remember to check on my distance knitted frequently.

Secret Swap for Hat City Scissor Squad

We had a secret swap for the Scissor Squad, and I made a "mini" Booga Bag out of some Noro Kureyon that was in my stash.

It was a quick, fun knit, felted pretty quickly (now that the washing machine actually works) and the recepient loved the colors.

I've started a cardigan with yarn that DH bought me in Scotland in 1985. Yes, 23 years ago. I'll post pictures once there is something to look at.
